INDIVIDUAL IDEAS
As we have decided we will create a thriller genre title
opening sequence. My idea is to make the sequence discrete as it would
establish the genre. There will be no clear storyline, however the plot idea
that I was thinking of would be a serial killer stalking a teenage girl. The
main focus of this would be the killer (antagonist) and his interests. I imagine
that most of the outside shots would be done in the evening, just before it
gets dark, as the dim lights convey mystery and creates tension. The best
places to film would be; an attic, empty streets, graveyard, Camden town market
(graffiti’s and under the bridge) and dark room. Both character would stay unidentified
throughout the opening sequence, we would the recording them from the back or
over the shoulder to keep the suspence.
